Cancellation & Refunds – Quick Guide

We know plans can change, so here’s how our cancellation policy works in plain language:

24-Hour Grace Period

Changed your mind right after booking? No problem — you can cancel within 24 hours for a full refund.

If Nomad Nest Cancels a Trip

In the rare case we need to cancel (for example, due to low enrollment or a global event), you’ll receive a full refund of all payments made to Nomad Nest.

Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel, but they will be fully refunded if Nomad Nest cancels the trip.

90+ Days Before Your Trip

  • Receive a future trip credit for the full amount you’ve paid (valid for 12 months), or
  • If you paid in full, request a partial refund minus a 25% cancellation fee and a $100 processing fee.

Within 90 Days of Your Trip

Because we lock in accommodations and vendors, payments are non-refundable within 90 days of your start date. Travel insurance is required for peace of mind.

Do I need to be a digital nomad to join?

Not at all! While many of our travelers work remotely, we welcome anyone looking for a month-long immersive experience in a new city. Whether you're taking a career break, working on a creative project, or just exploring, you'll fit right in.

How do I choose the right destination for me?

Choosing the right destination depends on your work needs, lifestyle preferences, and what kind of experience you're looking for. Consider factors like time zone compatibility, climate, cost of living, and the type of activities available. Each of our destinations offers a unique mix of work-friendly environments, cultural experiences, and adventure opportunities.

If you prefer beachside living and surfing, a place like Florianópolis might be ideal. If you love vibrant city life with great food and nightlife, Buenos Aires or Mexico City could be a great fit. For a balance of nature, history, and affordability, destinations like Chiang Mai or Marrakech offer incredible experiences.
